Imagine when Zimmer gets a QB....he's the guy me and Mr. Scot wanted as HC but we got PussyBoat Rivera and the Witless Wonder.

Hell Zimmer is the type of DC as HC you actually want.

Zimmer is 36-24 as a head coach, 0-1 in the playoffs.  Rivera is 61-45, 3-3 in the playoffs.

Im not seeing the difference thus far.

Cam and Luke but of course you're not, like Thomas here you don't NFL much, it's ok someone has to be the blind homer.

I could imagine Rivera with Keenum and Bradford rofl.

I mean to be fair here, is it Zimmer or is it his coordinators he put in place? Obviously if Zimmer can put better coordinators around him > Ron. But if Ron would fire Shula and remove Dorsey, he'll look much better. What's the matter with Ron lol. I think Ron has CTE. I think it's time to stop hiring former NFL players as head coaches. We need just a coach, from day one.

No reason to get so mad.  Lots of people around here whine about rivera when objectively he's been one of the best coaches in the league since 2013.  Just because he doesn't scream and put on a good show for the cameras its mistaken as hes stupid or doesn't care.  The problem with this team is that the former GM put together a roster with gaping holes at LT, CB and WR. His failure to address these positions over multiple offseasons has resulted in inconsistent and at times downright bad performances.

Well Riveras flaws are Riveras flaws...if he can't surround himself with coaches that's a him problem....part of the job and he sucks at it.

Zimmer had a stacked ass roster last year and after starting 5-0 blew it and missed the playoffs. If that happened here there'd be twice as many pitchforks for him than there have been for Rivera. That roster is stacked; Spielman is one of the best GMs in the league. The Zimmer hype this year isn't all that different than the Arians hype a few years ago.

I’m telling you, even the patient Minnesota fans wanted to run him off after the preseason blowout loss to the 49ers.

The legendary Marv Lewis coaching tree....

First loss was Olindo Mare... fckin legend.

2nd game was Steve Smith shitting on them.

3rd Game was when we refused to block on punts. 2 blocked punts... not even close.

4th.. 8 sacks 3 ints for Cam....

we are a dumpster fire every time, they have never been as talented as us.

Lets not forget that mike Zimmer's team started 5-0 last year and missed the playoffs.

I'd call Rivera the best coach in NFL history if his team with Sam Bradford at QB could win 7 games. More evidence from the just look at espn and not actually watch the NFL crew.

Bradford has been hurt his entire career and only played 16 games twice, both with the rams.  In those seasons he won 7 games both times.  Get Zimmer's balls off your chin, you're acting like he's the second coming of Lombardi.

Yea that's the point retard, Rivera couldn't even muster that with Bradford caliber QB. Zimmer is a good coach who has had no QB, Rivera is a poo coach carried by a once in a generation QB. If that's me acting like he's the second coming of Lombardi then he's the second coming of Lombardi and I'm too busy with my balls all in your mouth to be thinking of Zimmer, he can have you next since you like thinking of his balls.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
