Henne Shredded the Ryan D

This year the Panthers will take a Quarterback high in the draft. HOPEFULLY they'll sit him on the bench next year while Jake takes his last or second to last turn. The class is deep enough and talented enough that if we can give our guy time to develop, he will be able to take the reins when Williams and Stewart are in their prime, and behind an experienced and talented offensive line.

This would be the best case scenario IMO.

Fox took a team from 1-15 to 7-9 to 11-5 and a superbowl. Fanbases tend to have short memories. If Miami continues to struggle this year, some fans will be calling for his head. And if Miami continues to struggle, some of them will, right or wrong, consider Fox and upgrade. Its the nature of the business. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Short memories are you freaking kidding me? He might have taken us to the SB one time but that doesn't buy you as many years as you want. Brian Billick got fired after WINNING a super bowl and having probably the best defense of the last decade year after year after year.

IMO people don't have a long enough memory in this organization. Sure Fox wins (every other year) but he also loses a lot too. We have never made it to the playoffs in back to back years. He is a defensive coach with a defense that is marginal. Were we good during the SB year?? Yeah...but thats not this year. And you can count on if he is back next year we will probably be good and then the next year we will be terrible. Its just the way things go with him and it shouldn't be like that.

We have gone to the playoffs THREE TIMES in seven freaking years against other teams that are just as inconsistent as we are. If we had a good coach we could win this division every single year.

In 15 years Cowher made it to the playoffs 10 times. The only times he didn't make it were when he had Tommy Maddox as his QB and they solved that problem pretty damn quick. They didn't extend Maddox, the found a new QB in the draft.

In 17 years Mike Holmgren made it to the playoffs 12 times. He made it to the superbowl twice and both times coached up QBs that are all-pro caliber.

These are coaches that are out there and could be had for the right price. They are guys that will get a QB that can win for us instead of "not lose" for us.

And since then he has only had 2 winning seasons in 6 years. I can assure you most Miami fans would much rather have an up and coming coach that turned their franchise around in one year than a has been coach living off of the success of one lone super bowl season many years ago.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
