Apparently there are only 2 teams in NFC South

of course we havent earned any respect, but come on. This morning on ESPN first take, before an interview with the Falcons mike peterson, Dana "happy hour" Jacobson (or whatever her name is). said it was a 2 team race. and on Pat Yasinkas' chat both Thursday and Friday, the chats are devoted to the Falcons and Saints games respectively.

Granted these teams are leading the division, but have any of you actually looked at their schedules so far compared to ours? I would love to see the season records around week 12, then i will talk about how many teams are active in this division.

It is a 2 team race for the division, there's no denying that. However, Yas's blog is the NFC South blog. He covers all 4 teams no matter how bad they are, so if he only talked about the Saints and Falcons, then that's a little out of line on his part I believe.

    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
    • This thread is dumb. But I do think canales gets too cute with play calling and I don't think he's a good coach
    • 2 bad teams played yesterday and one lost. Both teams are still bad today. Bryce is a big part of that. It wouldn't have been a close game if DC would have just gone rage rushing from the start.  The Panthers would look so much better with just decent WB play. No way to avoid that fact.
