Williams Remains With No 20+ Yd. Runs

Carolina Crazy V2

I might need to change my user title.

Deangelo Williams still has no long runs. His longest run stands at 17. It is truly a telling stat as to why our offense is struggling. Our offensive line needs to step it up. They're just not created holes. We're giving up way to many rushes for a loss.

How many 20+ runs will Deangelo end up with? Many of you expected record breaking numbers but right now, I'm just hoping for one big game to get him started. Hopfully that will be the game vs. Tampa.

yeah and its f**king killing my fantasy team

Please change you sig it makes me cry. We should have him.

To the OP you are correct the Oline is the single greatest reason our O has been stagnant. I have no earthly idea what is going on with them but it must be scheme because this OLine was on of the top 2 or 3 in the league last season. By the way they have played I wouldn't put them in the top half of the league. WTF is going on with this team.

He didn't play all that bad.

Honestly some of those PI calls were fuging bogus.(against your secondary in general) It was like the Dolphins were the visiting team.

Many of Williams long runs last year resulted from the blocking of the wide receivers, not the offensive line. I don't think it's often you'll find an offensive lineman twenty yards past the line of scrimmage.

Yes, I realize you have to break past the first wave of defenders to get into that level, but those long runs resulted were due in part to Williams athletic ability and also in part to the great blocking Smith and Moose provided.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
