Totally impressed!!! I just watched your interview on YouTube w/TWC News ...Congrats!!

Were you really impressed with any of the actors? Just glancing on IMDB, I'm not familiar with any of them..Just wondering if any of them stood out to you.

there are a lot of great no-name actors out there. my biggest fear wasn’t getting no-name actors, it was getting bad actors. our casting experience was our saving grace. we expected about fifty people to submit for roles but it blew up to over four thousand individual actors. we requested auditions from the best five hundred or so, then invited the best eighty of them to a live audition in greensboro. by the end of a very long day we had cast the best seven actors out of four thousand.

they are all outstanding. not a weak link among them. chris long is indisputably the best. he will be a name after this. matthew ewald is on the cusp of fame for other reasons. jacob keohane i’ll be casting as a lead in my next film, which i’ll be shooting in south america later this year.

If you don’t mind me piggybacking off this I’d like to add from the scenes I was able to see Jake was absolutely phenomenal. Total class act as well. Chris is a complete natural and his drive is amazing. It was refreshing to be a part of a cast like that.

yeah jake is the poo. i wrote a role specifically around him as a lead in the next one. he’s strong enough to carry a performance by himself

Looking forward to Sunday also. Going to be a cool  experience attending this. We got a room at the Biltmore in downtown Greensboro right near the venue so going to make a day/night of it and check out the area while there.

Cat - I think I may have met you many years ago for a brief moment when I was hanging out with Cooter (Sport) and Livermush. You had your old username back then I believe but I could be wrong and thinking of someone else.

I met Philly many years ago also around the same time at a tailgate. Not sure I will recognize anyone other than Philly just because I have seen his picture / interviews for the movie. Either way I will try to say hi if anyone looks familiar.
