Adam Schefter from ESPN "suggests" these trades

Again, nobody will trade for a guy taking 16 million home for one season, only too let him hit FA next year. The Panthers also dont think they are out of it with 2 gimme games on the horizon in Tampa and Buffalo bringing them up to 3-3. Peppers is part of our defense, and a big part. Whether he produces or not, he is still gameplanned for by the opposition because he could at any given moment explode, he has the talent, just not the fire. Hence the reason Cooley got ZERO catches last week was they brought him up to the line to help with Peppers once Samuels went out...

We dont have anyone that can replace Pep, at this point so this is a stupid trade, a first round pick next year for Peppers does nothing but admit we should have let him walk and kept our first rounder and signed some depth with the extra cash.

If the Falcons hadn't thrashed the niners in their own house this would make a lot more sense. A win or even a close loss against a good falcon team would have shown that the niners are a true contender this year and would encourage a move like this.

Sinking that much money in a player only makes sense if it pushes you over the edge.

Not saying they will happen but just a suggestion for money etc.

TO from the Bills to whoever but the next one got my attention.

Peppers to San Fran. For a#1 which is what they gave up anyway.

hmm

I just don't get why anyone would (except for Hurney) pay Peppers a million a game this year, and give up a valuable #1 pick as well to get him.

He'll be walking the street next spring anyway and will be had for half that price and no compensation.

    • Terrible?  No doubt he was Sunday.  Will he ever get gud?  No clue. Listening the Panther's Playbook (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K8QW-k4du0) the guys made an excellent point:  there is no trust. Bryce isn't trusting his line, WRs or the system.  That's not good at all.  When Bryce has trust, we see what happened after the bye last year.  The biggest question is "where did the trust go?" That's something that Canales and Co. need to figure out ASAP.  Look, I think Bryce is a nice guy, and I'm glad he's generationally wealthy.  But I want my Panthers to succeed.  If he's the guy to do it, great.  If not, be the guy we need to help us get that top 5 pick.
    • I'm surprised by the grades for Turk + Moehrig because during the game they seemed to always be in on a tackle before Turk left the game. Bryce's grade surprises me as well, but seeing some PBLK grades... Corbett - 27.7 Nijman - 38.4 Chuba - 27.1 Dowdle - 14.0 Thank goodness for the guards and TMo. TEs did okay in PBLK as well, but their RBLK grades were horrible (Tremble 34.5, JT0 56.4). TMo had a rough RBLK grade as well (48.8).
    • Solid is stretching it.  Rozeboom frustrated the hell out of Rams fans.  Not as bad as Reeder, but close.  LB was a known issue going into this week and it showed in a huge way.  And Wallace was a high ceiling but super raw LB prospect.   Moehrig's slipups were surprising.   But yeah, Evero's playcalling and personnel deployment is super annoying.  He likes playing light in the box which is nonsense given who we brought into our front-7.
