facebook - i really hate facebook as a platform. i think it’s really outdated and this is where you see a lot of annoying political bullshit so i tend to avoid using it but i only maintain an account bc some of the ppl i know that i like to keep in contact with like to use it.

instagram - i like to use the platform, i think it is extensively misused by ppl for their businesses/political soapboxes or to spam selfies. don’t even get me started on these idiots that post nothing but astrology bullshit and rh sin quotes.

snapchat - i have one but i don’t really like the platform that much, also half of the stories by my friends are just selfie spam (much like ig but more obnoxious)

reddit - i have an acct and mostly i don’t comment, i just lurk for the fresh memes. it’s pretty cool how you get to subscribe to subreddits that have specific interests so you don’t have to deal with an unfiltered feed that just loads nonsense and you can control the content you see.

youtube - my YT channel is just a handful of random bullshit videos and sometimes i comment but very rarely

ones i don’t use

twitter - in the last 9 years that twitter has been around i haven’t created an account and i don’t think that i ever will bc i have too many social media accounts as it is and i can’t get past how insanely serious ppl take themselves on there.

myspace - myspace was a malware-riddled, disorganized mess by the time i discovered social media

4chan - never appealed to me

tumblr - lol fug tumblr

ones that i miss

vine ;_;

I used to use reddit as well, but then I realized it's nothing but a circlejerk and the downvote system can effectively censor those who don't agree. Also mods on Reddit are neckbearded retards who ban people for disagreeing with them. This even happened when I used to use the Panthers sub, banned for wrongthink. Has potential but the downvote system and powerhungry mods ruin it. I prefer /sp/ over it.

reddit’s upvoting/downvoting system is more visibility based than merit based and is why i tend to avoid commenting. that’s part of the reason why you have guys like gallowboob ripping off other ppl’s posts and getting 20x the upvotes

in general if your post initially nets 10 upvotes it’s more likely that it’ll net 50 upvotes than end up netting -10

Twitter, although I'm on it less and less.

This site.

Youtube some.

A very active boating/fishing/diving site.

FB just to clean up my feed.  Awful place now.

IG and snapchat usage is growing, but still less than 10 minutes per day.

Pinterest occasionally.

    • Dude would come down with some fantastic snags, even in crunch time so the ability is there. I hope he is plugged in with a sports psychologist.  He could be a PROBLEM if/when he develops more confidence.
    • Very glad to see he is aware and working on it. Now we just need to see the results this season. Hopefully, like he said, with TMac getting the bulk of the targets/attention, it opens up opportunities for him.
    • "Talking about his rookie drops makes his trademark smile disappear. "'Those were the main ones, the bad ones,' Legette said in an interview with ESPN. 'It affected me in a way; how it made me feel. Just how we lost those games. It could have changed [the outcome].' Legette admitted the drops got into his head. "'It's always gonna be the next-play mentally,' he said. 'But it always will be in the back of my head, trying to focus on catching.''' https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46015325/nfl-carolina-panthers-xavier-legette-tetairoa-mcmillan If I were to give X advice, it would be to continue to work on the mechanics. Make sure you look the ball into your hands and secure it. Everything else will take care of itself. I don't know that thinking about catching balls is the way to go. That could end up as pressing, kind of like the yips for a kicker. Be steadfast about the mechanics and just catch. It becomes just a natural occurrence or consequence of consistently working on the mechanics.
