There’s tons of great coaches who were average, below average players. Most of the great coaches in every sport weren’t anything special as players.

Lots of guys who are naturally talented get frustrated as coaches because they don't get why other guys can't just do what they did.

Pickles's game IQ is reportedly off the charts. It's his physical skills that are, well, questionable is the nicest way to put it.  I think he'll do fine as a coach.

Honestly, considering all factors involved, Jimmy C from the jump was thrown into about one of the worst overall situations any QB has seen in the modern NFL.

He might actually make a really good coach.

Like being drafted without anyone consulting the head coach, said head coach being on the last year of his deal and looking to just mail it in for the season?
