Don't Expect Ryan Kalil to be Cut

This is the one, single move that could help could convince me Hurney has changed. There’s complete logical sense to cut him and emotional reasons not to. He needs to be cut, period. The team was fine without him. I’m sorry but Hurney is sill doing stupid poo.

The Kalil Bros combine for over 17 mil cap hit in 2018.  We need to fix this somehow.

Cutting Ryan would be a radical move for Hurney and the Panthers org in general. But if it happens, it opens the floodgates for us in free agency.

Would you  tho, be comfortable with the left side of Matt Kalil, Taylor Moton, Tyler Larsen ? Wed have major ? on the mid and left side.

I believe the oline is second only to the dline in terms of importance when discussing teams with a franchise caliber QB. I am not sold on Moton whatsoever.

The line needs help but more importantly, it needs a future. Follow the Eagles blueprint on how to build a line.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
