I mean, they won... but everyone else associated with the team lost.

I simply want to build around the strength of this team which is Cam Newton. 

We can cut corners at many other positions but instead we always cut corners at the one Cam needs the most. We’ve taken the same lousy approach for Cam’s entire career and it isn’t working. It’s time to try something different. 

We have zero superbowls and there’s a reason for that.

if it's that easy... over the past five years, what free agent that someone else signed is the guy who got away, in your opinion? Who do you sign and who do you get rid of?

Man... I do this every offseason and have played this game with the draft so many times...

It seriously isn’t that hard. Never in a million years would I have signed Matt Kalil for starters or brought back Captain Midget. Shepard wouldn’t be on this team either and that’s just off the top of my head from last year. Desean Jackson would be our deep threat that we so badly missed last season. 

Just with those moves alone we’re a better team and not as cap strapped

I'm just saying the eagles are making the right moves. Not only did they get a quality DE for penny's the are now going to get Ngata wrapped up as well. While we sit with questions on both lines hoping we draft well.

Look at the teams who are always in or contending for the playoffs, they don’t make big splash signings. Teams who have money to throw away are normally the teams that suck the most
