I wish John Madden was the coach!

Thank you John Madden for continuously "EXPECTING" Steve Smith to be involved on the last drive in regulation and on the lone possession in overtime.

Maybe if you were the coach, we would have thrown in his direction once we got ON THE GIANTS SIDE OF THE FIELD in regulation and at least once in Overtime.

But noo, RETARDED conservative playcalling ON OFFENSE lost this game.

And why the hell was Jonathan Stewart in the game on the first two downs IN OVERTIME instead of DeAngelo Williams, and then you put Williams in on 3rd down after Stewart hasn't given you squat on the first two downs?

Stupid play-calling lost this game.

You can blame the defense all that you want, but they STOPPED THE GIANTS on the first drive in overtime, which doesn't usually happen in most overtimes I've seen.

The offense had their chance, and BLEW IT, just like they did when they had a double digit lead in regulation.

The offense LOST the game because they had more than enough chances to win it in regulation AND OVERTIME!

Madden was amazing at calling the shotgun running plays over and over that the Giants were running. Every single time they would run it, he would predict it ahead of time.

A guy that hasn't coached in decades and is reaching the age of senility could see the Giants plays coming, but Turdovac couldn't.

I'm sure if Mike could've suited up and played DT tonight, he would have.

I hear you...tonight they were totally outmanned on the LOS even if they had put 12 in the box and taken a "too many men" penalty every time, but they've been getting run on pretty bad for awhile, not just tonight.

the offense lost the game? were you watching the same game?

The offense gave the defense an 11 pt league and 2 8 pt leagues yet the D still couldnt play well at all

11 points isn't SQUAT.

You have to KEEP ATTACKING AND KEEP TRYING TO SCORE.

Championship teams try to kill the opponent when they have them down, not say, WELL, WE'RE AHEAD, I guess we can stop trying to score now.

EXTEND THE FREAKING LEAD, or lose more often than not.

I could have sworn I saw a pass thrown to Smitty that got batted down by Webster at the last second in that last drive in regulation.

Was it once they got the ball past the 50 yard line, retard, because I do remember focusing on once they got the ball pass midfield...but I guess you can't read.

Wait, he isn't already there?

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
