Knox is just another MKG

I really want Mikal Bridges

A athletic 3 and D wing to come in where the new head coach is from the Spurs system.

We Need someone who can hit a jumper besides Kemba.

Kemba, Monk, and Bridges starting together has some nice potential

Does this looks like anything M K Or G to you?

He looks more like a offensive Greek Freak .. A tall long SF..

At 11 we're not going to get a guy that's going to make a direct impact anyway. So, doesn't really matter.

For the most part you are right.. But either of the Bridges can come in and start day 1.. Miles IMO can come in and avg. 10 to 15 points and 7rbs a game at SF for this team...

I'm okay with Knox, Miles, or whoever at 11. But, if somehow one of those guys that might be a "can't miss" falls. I think we should take him, regardless of position.

Knox is no where near MKG.  That comparision is ridiculous.

If things go as projected Knox is who I would go with.

starting to warm up to the idea of miles more

My order is still

1. Mikal

2a. Sexton

2b. SGA

3. Z. Smith

4. Miles Bridges

I've been going back and forth:

Tier 1: Knox, SGA and Miles Bridges in that order.

Tier 2: Zaire and Lonnie Walker

Mikal would be in my Tier 1 but I think he is gone.

I can't see Sexton just because I have a hard time seeing both he and Monk sharing the court.

Now ideally for me trade Kemba for a Top 10 pick and pick both SGA and Knox. I would love our Kentucky lineup of SGA, Monk and Knox.

    • I have considered free agency.  LT?  Either not good enough or too expensive.  Besides, this is a good OT draft.  (I would rather have a free agent, mind you, but the Panthers' reality suggests we can't do it without neglecting other positions).  What LTs are available in free agency, and what do you expect to pay?  Any Ickey-level OT is going to cost over $20m.   How much do we already have invested in our OL?  I get your point, but I do not think you can spend over $100m per on your OL. We have 2 guards and a right T who pull in about $75m per season.  We don't have a center yet.  Teams just don't let good LTs hit free agency, and when one does on rare occasion, he is expensive.  If you want a third of the Panther cap going to 5 Offensive Linemen, free agency is the way to go.  We still need S, ILB, Edge, WR, etc. I think we'd need more than Nijman--and I would understand if we went free agent for a T--but that is putting a TON of your cap at OL--so considering our situation, I do not see that option as preferable.  You may disagree. If I was not talking LT on our line and thinking about the cap, I would agree 100%.
    • Will be interesting to see how they come out tonight. The Boston game seemed to open the flood gates of media attention. And it’s not just that they’re playing well, in some instances they are getting compared with all time greats. This is still a young team, and it would be easy for an immature team to lose some focus, buy into their own hype, and think they can coast bit. The Heat are a middle of the road team without their leading scorer. There is no big dragon to slay, no big statement to make. I think we’ll learn a lot tonight: are they young but mature, or do they still have a ways to go mentally?
    • Panthers North for the win. Good luck to him. Great guy, hated to see him leave here, but he's about to work with the best QB he's ever worked with (at least on a regular basis).
