Our current GM acknowledges that he has a history of it and that he's trying not to do it now.

Also when investing in companys you can buy to high or be speculating. Tepper is more of a value investor and doesn't take big risk. Specially if it is government backed.

One last note...

Joe Person thinks it's possible the second set of SI revelations actually may have hurt Ben Navarro's chances.

How?  It made the league want to get things done as fast as possible (as if they weren't already) and thus made them a lot less patient to have to do any vetting. Especially so if it involved more than one party, and person said Navarro was going to need "eight or nine" partners.

      I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.

      Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
