Theo Pinson

Im starting to think Theo in the second would be a steal of a draft pick.  Once he gets to the NBA and the court opens up he will be a hybrid between Rondo and Lance Stephenson....

He could potentially be our starting PG to put a long side Monk.  This will help with size and defense plus Theo is a damn good passer of the ball.  In the NBA he will be able to get to the rim at will, and his drive and kick ability will have Monk firing threes wide open.

Thoughts??

I actually think Theo would be a better NBA player than college. He would be a good MKG replacement but in the 2nd round...not a 2nd pick....

I believe other teams will see what Theo can bring to the table and he could sneak into the late first.....

If Theo is available at 58 then I'd have no problem taking a flyer on him. I personally think he could be converted to a PG in the NBA. His distribution and playmaking skills were fantastic at UNC. The only reason I might not take him is if we take another wing or big PG like SGA at 11. Too redundant. At that point, I'd like to see a big potentially.

You guys are not serious with this poo, right? Theo Pinson? Dude has no jump shot. He won't even be Drafted. This thread is so, so, bad.

hahah does a jump shot matter?  MKG went where with what Jump shot?

Theo Pinson will be drafted and maybe at the end of the first round

I'm a Carolina fan and as much as I love Theo, he's not going to be a first rounder. If Theo gets drafted, realistically he's going to go in the 45-60 range and maybe more in the 50-60 range. I stand by it though, if he's available when we pick at 58, I'm 100% fine with taking a shot on him.

Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong. If that's the case though, he likely won't be a Hornet

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
