Uh, I have never been an advocate of nor wanted Puff daddy owning the Panthers. Feel free to search through any of my old posts - I’m sure you have nothing better to do. IMHO, I don’t think  he would have been a good NFL owner. He didn’t even pronounce the team name correctly when he “announced” he was trying to buy the team. Not to mention it sounded like he would have turned the team and game day into a spectacle. I imagine running an NFL team is much different than running a record label. 

Also, I don’t think he has the $$.

Yup I’m all for it. That would have probably been the only positive thing to come from Puff daddy buying the team. It would have ran the bigots and hillbillies off back to Nascar. We need to hold panthers fans to higher standards. Let’s win on and off the field.

Sabates sounds like an ass every time I hear him speak and he has been one of the main millionaires crying about building an unnecessary stadium funded by tax dollars  so that Charlotte can host a super bowl. I also wouldn’t have put past him to try and hold the city hostage with relocation threats if we didn’t provide corporate welfare.

I don’t think he was a legitimate candidate, and now is using this opportunity for some free publicity to get his name out there and remind people that he is rich. With that being said, PD could be the richest person on earth and I doubt NFL owners like Bob McNair, Old Man Richardson, Jerry Jones l, etc would have allowed a person like Puffy into their elite circles.
