Wesley Suspended One Game Without Pay

one game, most he should be suspended for IMO.. he tried to make a play on the ball, but timed it too early.

Had he timed it right, we wouldn't be talking about this. Perhaps since he left his feet, but I disagree with them saying he hit the head at all.. From what I can see, it looks like he puts a shoulder into his chest. It's close due to him throwing his elbow, but you can only say his neck area at the most... who knows.

he's getting what he's getting. it's over and done with.

I'm just trying to work out how much he will lose by missing one game. Where's Mr. Scot with his contract details?

If he's making more than $400k per year, then he got a pretty hefty fine, because that would be more than $25,000, which was the high end of the possible fine penalties I heard postulated.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
