I'm sure you'll hear this a lot, but in the workplace it's not allowed. In the workplace it's called sexual harassment. Workplace is held to a higher standard because people in power do things like JR did and victims of this harassment should not feel like they have to put up with it if they want to keep their job.

Horse hockey…  nobody should loose their life's work  because they made a pass at someone, as long as he didnt force himself on someone,  weather at work or a party makes no difference,

Thank you for calling out my misspelling … Hope it made you feel better about yourself...   I'm impressed with all the people who have never,,,

* said something out of the way to a woman,

* kissed one without asking if it was ok first,

* flirted with someone by saying you look great in those jeans …

* started rubbing someone shoulders without asking first...

* and NEVER stared at a woman studying her figure...

I didnt know all you gentleman were such pure souls...  I'm sure a lot of you have done these same things at some point during your life time, so do you think you should lose all you have as well ?

Its not making a pass at a woman that's wrong.   Its not respecting being told NO that's wrong.

You have heard of these things called "workplaces", right?

It doesn't sound like you've set foot in one, but you should at least be familiar with the concept.

in the workplace it's wrong, esp. if you are in a position of power. it's too hard to abuse that power and the law rightfully bends in favor of those who are likely to be taken advantage of in those situations. the laws are there in place to protect people from harassment and pressure from bosses. it's not appropriate workplace behavior ever and no one should ever be excused for it.

If I wanted to feel better about myself, there are far better ways of doing it. Here's hoping you learn something from this thread, the least of which would be correct spelling.

I have been righteously chastised and I repent in dust and ashes. You've changed my life.
