Kalil absent again

Unless it’s a major money think like it is with Kalil.

Hurney could tell Rivera that he’d cut Kalil it it wouldn’t finalcially hurt the team, so they’ll instead keep his ass around as a backup unto the season is over, at which point he will be cut.

Which would likely result in a conflict.

GMs make contract decisions. Coaches make depth chart decisions. That's true of pretty much every team in the NFL. GMs trying to horn in on the coaches turf is how power struggles start.

The Panthers have a pretty good record of avoiding this kind of thing. And as to Hurney specifically, it's been said that he's listening more to Rivera this time around.

Sounds like the guy is taking time to contemplate if he wants to continue playing football.

Or he has a mystery injury.

But rivera’s Comments didn’t sound like it was anything physical. I think maybe Kalil is over it

First Post here..

I agree. Rivera's comments were odd.  "He's inside today."  Almost like he was talking about a child. lol

You know, I was mostly joking when I said he was quitting. The more I think about it, the more I think there might be something like that actually going on. He's getting paid the GDP of Luxembourg to suck at his job, yet he no longer wants to do that job. He's going to get advice on how best to keep his paycheck going while doing as little as humanly possible. Maybe he'll end up getting suspended for conduct detrimental to the team or something. We'll see.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
