That’s if you would have won any of them :liar:. Don’t start with lies  again, you  still owe me for the 2 TEs bet loser.

I’ll say CAP will be on the 53 man roster competing for #2 RB spot. Winner gets to pick the profile pic of the loser?

I didn't make any wagers with you, kid. I just remember watching you duck out of paying people who did :)

And given that I don't really trust Ron Rivera to make the right roster decisions, the answer is no.

I think it's very possible that Artis-Payne makes the roster. I question whether he should.

Ah yes the same one who’s consistently poor at tracking the ball, bad drops, and can’t outmuscle DBs since his stunt with the Eagles and earlier.

He's had 3 targets all preseason. Can we give him a chance to fail with us before we start bringing out the pitchforks?

I know he has some potential and experience. His stats have also declined in recent years, but I am excited to see what he can do for us and the fact that he has not relinquished the # 2 spot yet, leads me to believe he's had a pretty good camp.

Easier to do when you don't have someone in charge who tells the offensive coordinator that he's not allowed to talk to a certain player.

I know your still mad that Rivera is here and your guy DG is gone lol!

Which one did I duck off? Please give some evidence but we all know your lying.

You did lose the one where you stated DG would be here and Rivera would be the first one fired if it jogs your selective memory old man. :)

Or that Rimjob Remmers was better RT than all pro Daryl Williams lol

I see a Curtis Samuel being a gazillion times better than what Smith has offered in the past or will in the future and believe he should instead have that #2 spot without negotiation.

So yes I'll bring my pitchforks to BofA if Curtis Samuel's playing time gets strapped because of another one of "Rivera's Vets"

My old memory is a little better than yours, kid.

We debated whether or not Gettleman had the power to fire Rivera. He did.

Unfortunately, the owner was an idiot, but that's not really a problem anymore.

If Smith lays an egg and we give snaps to him over players showing more promise, then yes this will be on Rivera. I think because of Riveras tendencies to stick to vets over more talented players, has many on here already calling for him to be cut, simply so they don't have to worry about that happening.

If Rivera plays the wrong guys, thats on him, but still not a reason to go out and cut smith right now.

There goes your selective memory. P.S. he didn’t have the authority cause he never got to hire one that was up to JR and DG knew that.

But yeah RimJob Remmers over Daryl Williams nice scouting. Didn’t you pick Shepard over Byrd lol!

All fairness I'm not advocating for Smith to be cut as of now. I just hope he doesn't get snaps over Curtis Samuel.

He'll be fine in certain situations and for veteran experience. But as a pure player I don't think he's as good as he's used to be.

Funny thing about Remmers? You know who actually decided he was a better starter than Darryl Williams?

That'd be Ron Rivera :)

Keep making up your own history, kid. I'm not bored enough to keep messing with you today.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
