Oh yes, one move halfway into the season made by a guy who was hired at the end of the offseason gives him all the credit.

Meanwhile, another guy's success three years in is still dependent on the moves that were made by somebody who hasn't been part of the team that entire time.

You're really sticking to this dumbass argument no matter how utterly foolish it looks?

Okay. You do you :)

Which move made last year had the greatest impact on the season? CMC can be argued but the majority would lean toward the trading of Kelvin. Or again, I could circle back to the Matt Kalil signing and how he nearly got Cam murdered multiple times last year. I guess in essence, that's making an impact.

Additionally, I know you get flustered and pick and choose what you want to hear then attempt to configure your argument, but NEVER HAVE I EVER given Hurney credit for the 15-1season.

I've simply stated that if DG is going to get credit for last year then why doesn't Hurney get credit for 2013? Your argument of DG running the draft and free agency carries no weight and makes no sense at all. The majority of the players he drafted and signed during the offseason had no impact on the season unless it was a negative one. But for some reason you think you get to pick when and where a GM should and shouldn't get credit for a teams success. Newsflash, that priveledge doesn't belong to you and DG's record has him at two seasons below .500 and two seasons above .500. In case you didn't know, that is the definition of average. If God forbid I ever get fired from my job, remind me to come back at the end of the year and take credit for all the success of the company... What a pathetic argument.

DG gets sole credit for the 15-1 season. By 2015 DG had formulated his own team and they had a great season. However, in typical Panthers fashion they fell flat on their faces the next year.

He was an average GM and his 2 winning and 2 losing seasons validate that.

Why don't you take a lap.

Yeah, the Benjamin trade made all the difference in the world. it was especially great when it left us thin at receiver late in the season :)

McCaffrey? Yeah, no impact there :eyeroll:

You're really bad at this, dude. you're probably going to keep trying, but I'm not really interested anymore. You've just got nothing but a bunch of desperate arguments to try and prop up a really stupid promise. You keep trying to come up with different ways to frame it, but at heart it's still the same silly notion.

I'm bored with it now.

All I read was... "I have no ground to stand on but I pledge mah allegiance to mah Gettleman".

The Panthers have been thin at receiver up until this year. The loss of Kelvin didn't change that and if you truly think trading Kelvin was a mistake you are off your rocker.

Again, I'm not sure if you had your spectacles on but I gave credit for CMC. Not one additional draft pick made an impact on the season. Using that as your argument is lazy.

In typical Scot fashion, you'll disappear to some Hurney bashing thread or find another DG worship service to be a part of.

Take another lap.

You left out the "go cheer for another team" part.

Face it dude, you've got nothing to work with, nothing interesting enough to keep covering the same territory over and over again anyway. And the  Gettleman worship" line is a pretty clear admission on your part that you've lost.

Find some new material.

I see you aren't addressing the topic any longer but rather responding to the banter.

Humor me, what's that an admission of? I'm still waiting on your response regarding the KB trade and I'm looking forward to hearing you try to argue that Samuel, Moton, Hall, and Butker had a huge impact on last season.

You're done.

Nah.

You don't get it. You're not going to, probably because you don't want to.

It's boring.

Mr. Scot has mentioned how "bored" he is with this convo only about a dozen times. But you look up and he's right back with another post.

It got a little better when you bit on that final line I left a while back.

I can't believe you fell for that even when I told you I was trolling you. I've been laughing about that ever since :)

Benjamin had his faults here no doubt, but how much of his trade do you contribute to Cam? Cam stared him down and there was no doubt when KB was on the field where Cam was looking first.
