CAM getting some love

Accurate statement. Vick was an unreal runner in his prime. He was one of the fastest players in the NFL, period. But yeah, Cam has been the more consistent runner and he's a totally different beast in the redzone than Vick was. Cam is an absolute TD machine as a runner while Vick never was. Vick ran like a scatback while Cam runs more like a powerback.

Cam can do so much more than Vick could do on a scramble/run.

Early In the Dallas game where he took that DB on man on man and basically body slammed him Smitty style (made me so friggin' proud!). I both died and nutted in my Cargo shorts at the same time. I fear for Cam's longevity...while I marvel at his greatness.

I was exactly 11 rows up from that body slam. It. Was. Awesome. Cam was so psyched after that.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
