Panthers announce launch of "5th Quarter" this weekend

Wow this seems really cool but surely this will have to be first come first serve. I don’t doubt the majority of club leaves by or before the game ends but if all the 500level learns about this them alone will fill the club sections not including the 100/200 level. I also think they will be putting a lot more security and drinking restrictions in place. If the fans in my section got another quarter of beer purchases it would go from ugly to mideval. 

 

I could see see this going rough at first then turn into an extra purchase with season tickets to a limited # of patrons.

Does this mean that they will not be stopping alcohol sales for the Silver Club at the end of the 3rd quarter? This is the part that bothers me. More drunks on the roads.

Yes. I guess it would be kind of weird to stop sales at the end of the 3rd then start them back up after the game for the "5th quarter" so they are just pushing all the way through

I didn't want to start a new topic and this seemed like a good place to post this. Just got the gameday email from the Panthers.  It mentions the 5th Quarter and the pre-game and halftime show, etc.  I noticed this week that they omitted who will be the Keep Pounding Drummer. Anyone heard anything?  Tepper maybe?

15 minutes of game time is not going to sober someone up. If they are already drunk in the 3rd they will still be drunk when they leave the stadium

Funny I thought it was a nfl rule to stop sales of alcohol in the 3rd qtr drive. By some incidents in Oakland 

if it isn’t a game after 4pm I typically drive home anyway
