Look on the bright side: at least we're not Falcons fans

Just 2 years after suffering the most humiliating Super Bowl loss in NFL history, the Falcons are 4-6 and are coming off even worse losses than us to the Browns and Cowboys. They're going nowhere and any Super Bowl window they had is slamming shut.

But that's not even the worst part. The Super Bowl is being held in Atlanta this year. They spent tons of money to bid for it, even more money on security and advance work to get ready for the Super Bowl, and had dreams at the start of the season of being the NFC rep in that Super Bowl. And what's likely to happen? The Saints are going to win another Lombardi trophy in their home stadium. Imagine Sean Payton smirking and holding up a Lombardi as confetti reined down in BoA Stadium. That's what's probably going to happen in a few months.

LOL Atlanta fans

    • It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.
    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
