Why do we want the Rams to lose? I’d rather play at the Rams as the #1 seed (likely to play as if we win wildcard weekend). Gives NO one chance to blow it (might be rematch with Cowboys or Bears).

That's subjective and could be good either way I suppose. I'm just making these with the 'perfect' scenario in mind and right now that's Carolina getting the #1 seed. I absolutely do not expect that to happen. But this is the "Perfect" scenario chart, after all.

If we take care of business , we should be sitting pretty nice come Monday. We just have to win our games. I feel confident in saying that if we finish 10-6 we are in the playoffs.

side note: I was thinking back to 2003 on our Super Bowl run. We lost 3 games in the row and got back on the winning side . I believe we can do it. It will be a tough task but it can happen. Just have to play and worry about what’s in front of us

No chance we make up 4 games in 5 weeks.

It’s well within reason that we get a wildcard, but damn near impossible to get the one seed. We want Rams to win out. I think we match up better with them and as a wildcard if you win the first week (usually both wildcards don’t win) you’re going to play at the 1 seed.

That said we still have a real tough road just to make the playoffs even though we looked like a pretty solid lock at the midpoint of the season.

Like I said, we have the same odds to get the #1 seed as Mary Swanson and Lloyd getting married. But where's the fun in that?

Image result for so you're telling me there's a chance gif

Also needed cowboys to lose. Best scenario is redskins win the east

Best case scenario is we win the NFC South :shades:

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
