I really just want to know why you think he's so great. Because he's just Greg Schiano with a better record.

Then he wouldn't be Greg Schiano would he? I didn't say he was great. I said he wins and was better than Rivera. Greg was a .504 coach in college in 11 years and .344 in two years in the pros. Like its not even close.

Past records may mean something, but they aren't the end-all in making the right hire. Players generally perform better when they respect the coach who's supposed to lead them. Harbaugh sucks at leading, he has a horrible attitude and creates a toxic atmosphere. As glorious as it may be that he's undefeated in BoA (it actually means less than nothing), he'd be a truly terrible hire as HC.

Winning everywhere you go sucks? I guess its better to have a winning record 3 out of 8 years? Again, I haven't said he would be a great hire, or that he would be the best hire ( I am open to just about anyone that hasn't already failed miserably as a head coach like Kingsbury ) I stated that he is a better coach than Rivera and has been a better coach. People dislike him so much its easy for him to recruit players and win. People dislike playing for him so much that he had three straight winning seasons in San Fran yet we haven't had two winning seasons in a row as a franchise. You can keep spouting your off opinions that he would be a truly terrible HC but he hasn't failed anywhere he has been. Every place that has hired him has won. Including the pros. Instead of posting exaggerations and embellishments like something can mean less than nothing, post facts to back up what you say.

Terry Bradshaw hated and despised his head coach to the point where he gets choked up talking about their relationship and he helped him win 4 Super Bowls. Brady and Bill seem to not get along the greatest and he has won plenty of Super Bowls.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
