What does race have to do with anything?

You have mental problems.

I hate when people say this. We can all agree  people make assumptions off looks . But the topic  of race applied to this thought process it just ain’t possible  smh. I know you might not but stop acting as if  you are the only one  he was addressing

I think the fact some of you are giving up on cam is pathetic. I remember quite recently people bitching about him throwing to hard and not having any “touch” on the ball. This is a overreaction, I think cams shoulder is bothering him but I don’t think it’s career threatening. I’m not seeing defenses playing single high or any coverage you’d play against a qb with limited arm strength.

yes cam missed some crucial throws but if we’re being honest the play call today and 2pt attempt in det should have been runs by cam

his age is career threatening and losing a step would be career ending...

I was at the game and it looked to me that Cleveland played single high most of the time. Didn't respect his ability to throw deep at all and corners sat on the out routes trying to get picks. What does he have? 7 picks in the last 3 games?

I’m not seeing a team sellout for it though. This game was actually decent until Funchess started being Funchess. I just don’t think there’s a problem with cams shoulder enough to turn him into chad pennigintion, and I’m not willing to think this is the end of the cam era. I believe that’s a big overreaction, team just needs retooling and a fresh hc

Hard to say much about the future when we don't know what is wrong or what his prognosis is at this point. I just know Cam is very different now then he was at the beginning of the year and defenses are playing him differently. His arm strength is definitely off which impacts his accuracy. That long pass to Samuel was a TD if Cam doesn't underthrow it. He needs to get whatever the problem is fixed. Right now I honestly think he is a liability given he gets minimal reps all week and struggles to make many of the throws. It is too early to know the long term future of Cam but this year he is done.

I agree with that pass to Samuel, I disagree on being a liability. Bucs game is the only game I could honestly say he was the sole reason we lost. I just don’t feel there’s anything too serious wrong with cams shoulder besides soreness and the fan base is overreacting cause we’re on a 5 game skid.

I disagree that there isn't much wrong. His passer rating the last 2 games were a 66 and today a 70 after posting ratings in the hundreds for much of the year. He is very inaccurate and has 6 picks in the past 3 games. All this when his passes are short and most less than 10 yards. I don't expect Cam homers like you to see a problem but I hope the staff do and sit him. He isn't clutch anymore and isn't gonna to help us win anymore games.  No need to play him when Heinicke can do as good or a better job right now than Cam at 70%.

Not a cam homer, but realize were 3 plays away from being 9-4, and a missed fg away from possibly 10-4. You just posted his passer rating for his worst game of the season, and a shaky game today, 2 bad games out of 13 I’ll take 10/10 cam is still the best option for us to win if that is the objective, and I hope this isn’t the annual put in *insert backup qb* and bench cam murmurs

Nah he isn't. They have to adapt the game plan to account for his shoulder and even then his play is not good anymore. The point is his poor game today followed a terrible game last week. Defenses are seeing his limitations and taking advantage of them. It won't get better the rest of the way. If Cam plays anymore he will have more bad games. Watch and see. We need to rest him and help him get healthy. His armstrength compensated for his lack of anticipation and difficulty throwing to spots. Now that his armstrength is compromised, the issues he has are magnified.

I’m willing to bet the lather,It’d be different if we were getting blown out weekly due to Cam’s play but were not. And if he’s been relying on arm strength, maybe it’s good a injury like this will require him to rewire himself. I’m not seeing teams sellout and leave cbs 1v1 on the outside. Again the Bucs games is the only clear cut game where I can say cam was a liability

You clearly don't see what is obvious to.most other folks who have the ability to analyze the situation honestly. You aren't alone. Most folks see what they want to despite the obvious signs to the contrary.

Who’s most other folks? An nfl executive? I guarantee if cam was as much a liability as you’ve made him out to be we would have found a way to sit him, just like we’ve done Funchess and Gano.

Funny part is cam was way more of a liability last year compared to this year, yet last year was a playoff year and this isn’t.
