Funny correlation, Funchess gets less snaps, we havent won since.

Well all stats lie or tell a partial truth.

I mean it is pretty obvious Moore and Samuel have more overall upside than Funchess and make more plays.  Funchess has looked bad of late and I don’t fault him for the pick

Biggest issue in this losing stretch has been D and Cam’s inability to make key throws late.  Last Cam was more a product of Cam shoulders reaching the bottom of the decline it has been on

Remember in the preseason when everyone said our receivers looked like the best they've looked in years?

Funchess: garbage

Torrey Smith: is he still on this team?

Moore: good, but green and he lacks focus sometimes

Byrd: done

Samuel: have we turned him into a running back officially?

Wright: I appreciate him moving the chains, but hasn't done much else lately

Olsen: done

Ian Thomas: showing progress, but friends, the ball hit him right in his hands at the end of the game and he dropped it

Cam has a busted shoulder, a horrendous offensive line, and has McCaffrey and Moore as his only reliable options with Thomas/Samuel/Wright being there only occasionally. Not exactly a recipe for success.

Samuel and Moore have been great and will only get better. Samuel had 80 yards in the 2 games before last night's debacle. These guys are deep threats and are best utilized down field and Cam can't throw the ball past 7-8 yards right now. Not their fault the offense isn't moving. WR is one of the few position groups to be excited about going forward. Sign a vet big body red zone guy and we're in excellent shape there.

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
