Mike Tomlin perhaps?

I would have said a better support system (which generates a better roster).

The Steelers have probably built the most well oiled machine in the league.

Support system has consistently put rosters together that many Ron/Tomlin level coaches can win with.

Which is one reason why I'd like someone from that system to try and build something similar here.

That won't happen overnight, but the sooner we get started, the better.

Well you are talking front office and GM.

Tomlin is just a Ron Rivera tier HC.  We need to improve our front office.  Firing Ron after this year does little

You can say it as much as you want, but Ron Rivera is not a Mike Tomlin tier head coach. That’s absurd.

No argument.

Rivera has at least shown he can win more games with better support, but not that he can win a championship. I still feel like he's ultimately going to fall short, but what can ya do?

Watch more Steeler games.  Tomlin does a lot of real dumb stuff and often.

You give Ron the offensive pieces Mike has? He probably posts a winning record every season.

Ron has had talent and not used them properly at all. How many times have the backups come in to perform almost as good, if not better, than the starters on the O-Line? Why were we not getting Moore and Samuel more snaps earlier? Why didn't we use CJA at all basically? It doesn't change the fact that under Ron every other year is a BAD year. You don't just drastically lose talent every other season. Ron is a tier below Tomlin. Steelers pull linebackers and wide receivers out of their ass every year now. Yes, there is a lot of talent there but talent needs coaching to get to the levels they have been at in Pitt. I grew up in NJ and my father is a die hard Steelers fan. If Ron had AB, Sanders, Bryant, Wallace, Funchess and Benjamin on his Roster he would carry 4 WR and the starters would be Benjamin and Funchess.
