I mean I guess he could have asked Kalil, Davis, Adams, Peppers and everyone else to finish their careers punting on first down every time we got the ball to ensure we lost. Or ask Allen to kneel every play or whatever message board dregs come up with to somehow throw a game

We've had several high priced free agents and 2nd contract guys fall short of expectations. We've had several draft picks bust in recent years as well. We need to get lucky in the draft on several guys. The loss of draft position will affect us in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and all the way on to 7th rounds.

Rivera said it all in the response aboutt the Kalil and Heinicke articles. No coaches play for draft position. Football is about winning and losing. Peyton wanted to win as did Rivera. So did all the players on the field. Casual fans and talking heads talk about draft position. Players talk about winning and losing. Anyone who has played competitively at any level above Pop Warner knows this. Hint if you said you would tank a game as a head coach or player you clearly have never actually coached or played competitively or didn't have teammates or coaches who would give there all for you. You give your all and leave it on the field. Anything less and you are a poser.
