I follow Paul Alexander on Twitter, he's usually my go-to for OL analysis.

He LOVES Greg Little. Says he's already a beast of a pass blocker. Apparently one of the concerns Alexander had with him is that his stance is too wide, but he says this will be an easy fix.

I totally understand why some think we have up too much for Greg Little. But he can absolutely be a starting LT in this league, and I think he will be. I have no issues with it, we've got to protect Cam.

I think it is a terrible pick, especially with the trade up. But, let's hope we can turn that chicken poo into chicken salad.

As an attempt to alleviate your anxiety:

I think people are looking at late analysis (SB) and the Bama game under too heavy of a lens.  Fundamentally, his slide and lateral quickness are NFL LT level.  In a nutshell: He's looked the part, is obviously NFL caliber, but had some late hiccups.  I get the trepidation with Little as a, let's say Top-10, but you take LTs high.  We've mostly slid mauler guards or road grading RTs at LT minus Mr. Blindside.  Little was one of few ready LTs.  Probably the last available and slipped out of R1.  You also don't get this size/athleticism combo easily.

Also--consider more LTs have been taken in R2 like Dion Dawkins who we wanted BAD but the Bills traded up, took him and then we settled for Moton.  After the mid 2nds, LTs are gone.

Yeah, he is one of the few that does have raw LT ability but I just cannot fathom trading up for him. It is entirely possible he is still on the board at our pick and I don't see his POTENTIAL upside as being worth trading those picks. The reality is, if he isn't starting LT caliber, then it will likely be a waste. Better options were available at RT and certainly on the interior.

Respect your opinion and understand the concern!
