I know this is off topic but I cant imagine living my life consumed with racism like you do. If you really think that Newton is a better QB than Luck and that the Panthers simply wont take him because he is black, you not only know little about football but you know little about life in general.

Cam Newton is a winner. He won all the QB awards and is playing in the national title game. What has Andrew Luck won? He's not a winner, which is why the Panthers and our fanbase is so high on him. Half the people riding his nuts havent seen 2 of his games. The disrespect that this fanbase continues to show towards black QBs is DISGUSTING. I have no doubt if Cam Newton was some white guy QBing for Auburn having an undefeated season winning all the QB awards he would be on our radar, and people wouldnt call you a "racist" for liking him. But alas, he's black, so if you think he's better than Luck, you're a "racist". GTFOH. Alot of people are laughing at us right now, putting Luck on some pedestal as a savior. Peyton Manning, Mike Vick, Bradford, Palmer, all #1 draft picks who either won awards or got their teams in national title games. Luck has done none of that. Im not into putting guys on pedestals just because of measurables or what I think they can do. They gotta go out there and prove it.

Luck has lost one game to Oregon all year, so its not like he is on some 2-8 team.

If you really think that winning college awards or getting teams to national championship games is what matters when looking for a NFL qb, your clueless. Look at how many Hiesman trophy winners that have done nothing in the NFL, its very clear that award means little.

Newton could very well be a good QB in the NFL but to disregard all the experts who study football for a living that say Luck is a once in a lifetime prospect is very naive.

Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in ages, every expert agrees that he is the sure fire 1st pick if he comes out yet you and your ilk try to find some way to claim racism.

Its a very, very sad way to live and very telling about the way you live your life, consumed with race.

If you want to go at KT.... Take it here

LOL. Dudes feelings is hurt cuz Kobe cant beat LeBron after all the trash they talked about him. Kobe is a pussy, switch outcomes of the game, I'm almost certain thats what you'd say about Bron. All summer long Laker fans had this game marked on their calender, and told us how King Kobe was gonna outplay Wade and his sidekick LeBron. Now the regular season dont mean nothing. The same Kobe fans used to use Kobe's regular season 81 point performance to big him up or one of his many regular season game winners.   Fact is, Kobe is too old to hang with the LeBrons, the Durants, etc. Its not that he doesnt want to play at a high level during the regular season, its that he cant. He has to conserve his energy for down the stretch.

Kobe (as well as the rest of the team) didnt even show up Saturday. Its like you dudes still think he's 17 out there like its still 1996. Dude is 32 YEARS OLD!!!! He's been in the league since Dru Hill came out with "Tell Me" and Sisqo had platinum blonde hair. He can not hang with LeBron. Those Kobe "above the rim" days are OVER dudes. Give it up. Dude is basically a jump shooter who specializes in making bad low percentage shots. He's not the walking triple double that LeBron is, and he obviously isnt the draw either. Heat have sold out all their games thus far this season, home and away.

Kobe knows how to do 1 thing that Lebron doesnt know how. Win in the playoffs.

Lebron has won in the playoffs.... Even went to a title game...

If you refer back to my early post you would know why Kobe has won titles and LBJ hasn't.

Before Kobe got help he lost in the playoffs also and could not get a ring! Even the great Kobe couldn't do it alone without other all-stars...I remember the games in the PLAYOFFS where he pouted and wouldn't shoot the ball in the second half to basically call out his team and show how Garbage they are and why he can't win with them.... Yes Kobe did that.

some pretty dumb arguments going on in here!!! Basketball is a team sport...so you need support to win...easy as that! Kobe has always been a leader on the court and is easily one of the best to ever play the game. Lebron is as well...so to argue about who won on their own really is pretty pathetic! Kobe's edge is that when the playoffs come, his game gets turned up a notch, nobody can deny that.

As for Miami winning in LA...yes...they sure did. Last I checked though, nobody ever won a title in December!!!

Im pretty sure Kobe has won 2 rings BEING THE MAN. While Lebron will have to play the role of Lamar Odom IF he wins. Which I dont think the Heat will do

What two rings did Kobe win without All-Stars on his team?? And why was he pouting during the playoffs when he thought his team was poo?

I'm not a Kobe Hater.... He's not a favorite player of mines, but I respect the Hell out of Bryant... My thing is he and LBJ are not so different, and Kobe has done immature things in the past...

Kobe was ready to leave cause he didn't get help.... very similar

    • Yeah. Probably will be close. I am not rooting for anyone don’t really care that much.   Same for the AFC game, don’t really care. Except it is Sean Payton, I always like it when he loses.  But it’s New England, I can’t root for them. It’s going to be 23 degrees at kickoff in Denver, wind will 12-15mph, dropping to 13 degrees by 7pm with snow predicted to start before halftime.
    • Most people will agree with this in principle. But it's situational and also depends on the results you're getting. We were middle of the league in sacks given up. Had the 27th passing offense. And if a few instances that went our way turned out differently we very likely could have been staring at another 5 win season. For the highest salary cap percentage to the OL in the entire league. While we had basically nothing at linebacker and not much at all consistent pass rush to speak of as we were leaning on two rookies. And despite all that our defense which has been on a lopsided end of investment compared to the offense managed to go from league worst and giving up historic single season points in 2024 to middle of the league in 2025 which is quite impressive all things considered. So yes the investment in the OL versus the results certainly matters or at least to should to anyone that would like to continue to improve and also maybe finally win another playoff game.
    • Still think that if Carson Beck is there on Day 3 you have to take him. QB depth in drafts has been atrocious as of late but what he is good at translates very well to what the Panthers need a QB to do.
