No more Tinkering with Jake's Mechanics...

But that is exactly what is sounds like. They are trying to blame the new guy, and that's it all his fault. It will still be interesting to see what they say next week and the week after...

They are surely castigating blame all around to try and find some explanation for his sudden demise. Still Jake specifically said it wasn't on Scherer although the more intelligent could suggest that by putting it out there and denying it, that it serves the purpose nonetheless.

Still it could only be considered a delaying tactic at best because in the end it doesn't matter who's fault it is that Jake is sucking, the results are the same. And in the end he is going to be benched unless he makes a miraculous turnaround. I for one am not holding my breath waiting for anything to change in a postive way for him.

I can't believe they were really trying to change they way he has played...all he needed was a little control on his accuracy. Now they have, watch how you stand, keep your elbow down...etc.... BS rolling in his head, so he is thinking too much and sucks. But it's good they figured it out with 10 games left.

Agreed.

Hence you not being able to understand it........

just go eat some biscuits...please. This has become very idiotic on your part.

You don't understand the analogy.........

Your posts make you sound very immature, especially if you didn't consider that arguing. By the way, he was right and you are wrong. It is his job to report and that is what he did. He reported the information he was given whether it was wrong or right information. He is not a detective, it is not his job to decide whether the Panthers organization is lying or not. Understand?

  • 3 weeks later...

Maybe there was something to this after all. Certainly seems like he has improved. If thats the case, the Scherer should be fired for screwing things up to begin with.

Jake use to have some bad games, never a stretch as bad as he had for the first 6 games of this season.

Funny how the haters are conspicuously absent with the exception of SamMillsFan who is one of the few with balls enough to give jake credit. At least we might get a short break until thursday night as they hope he has another bad game so they jump back in.

FWIW, I got on Jake to. Thought he should have been benched after the Dallas game. Still concerned about his long throws, but at least I don't cringe in fear everytime he throws the ball across the middle now.

After all the crap I have taken seems pretty mild to me. BTW I don't remember using any names or calling anyone out other than giving credit to SamMillsFan for manning up. I guess you think I was talking about you.

If this is the case.

A Head Coach or at the very least Offensive Coordinator who couldn't recognize this after studying 6 weeks of tape:

Time to introduce them to the unemployment line.

    • It's worth noting that we started playing something that looked like football after going down 17-0 against the Dolphins.  Up to that point we had rushed the ball 3 times and Bryce had two turnovers.   Then we ran it 5 straight times with Rico and he started cracking off some big gains and led to our first touchdown.  Another 37 yards of rushing later, Bryce goes 1 yard complete, incomplete, incomplete to get that field goal before halftime.  Then we committed big time to the run in the second half and played some really nice complimentary football.  The Panthers had stumbled on a formula, and it started with Rico being crazy productive.  Something they only learned because Chubba was injured and Bryce started that game so poorly they were forced to lean on Rico. Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
    • First day in 3 weeks my pain started to dwindle just a tiny bit.  Got switched from hydrocodone to post-shingles pain patches.  My insurance refused to pay for my patches as I’m too young for shingles per them.  I also need a prescription to get shingles shot and insurance also won’t pay for it even thought I just had shingles and in high risk to get it again.
