Folks need to stop whining about Cam being "allowed to play hurt".....weak sauce.

In the NFL playing hurt is part of the gig, that's what you sign up for.

Article gives a good recap on Big Ben and a couple others & what they went through to make it to Sunday every week in 2016.

"Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a sprained AC joint and torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder. That's trouble for anyone on the street, let alone a pro quarterback who has to sling the football around on the playoff stage this Sunday versus the Denver Broncos' top-tier defense."

Never hear a Steeler fan whining about Big Ben playing hurt....in fact they expect it.

Why doesn't Drew Brees play hurt

Stop whining, it's not becoming of you..

Says the guy making long ass posts about stuff literally every football fan understands (that no one is ever truly fully healthy in the NFL) as if he's bestowing the knowledge of the universe upon us. Says the guy implying that a QB who played through two seasons with rotator cuff injuries in his throwing shoulder and has taken more hits in his career than pretty much any QB ever is soft. Says the guy lauding Big Ben as the ultimate tough guy QB implying Cam should be more like him playing through any and all injuries... oh wait, last I checked Big Ben is on IR not returning this season.

If you were half as smart as you fancy yourself you'd actually have the ability to comprehend how badly of an ass you make of yourself on this forum every time you drool hard enough on your keyboard for it to register as a keystroke.

He has been doing so for over a decade and the Saints fans never whined about it.

As for this most recent surgery tell you what Drew Brees has done, he's come out and talked about the injury, the surgery, the doctors expectations of the timing of his return, and his expectations on the timing of his return (sooner than doctors).  He has also confirmed that he will be on the sidelines for the Dallas game doing everything he can to make the team smarter & better in his playing absence.  He also said he missed being on the sidelines for the Seattle game because the wouldn't clear him to fly.

Brees gets it.

If Cam was on the sideline your simple room temperature IQ having ass would be bitching and moaning about how he should actually be working in the training room trying to get back on the field.

I didn't say the QB is soft....

....I'm saying YOU are soft.

Stop whining and blaming others because a football player got banged up.

It's the NFL, that's the way it is.

Guarantee you Cam would support my position here.

To be fair, there is a pretty blatant double standard among some Panthers fans (cough @mjligon) who essentially take positions like “that pu$&y Irvin needs to quit cashing checks and get off his ass and play football”, while lambasting the Panthers’ FO for playing his darling Cam through his injury. So maybe what we think to be common sense is not so common after all.

I don't like this very slimmed down vegan player in front of us

Cam like most vegans convince themselves into thinking they're better. Yeah you are, AWAY from football. You're playing with monsters aiming for your head, literally. This man done dropped down to 230 from 265 over the last 2 years. The size, which was once an advantage, is now a disadvantage.

Let's be honest

Cam don't move as well as he used to. He look slow and very low on energy. You all ask for him to run, he can't like he used to. You'll say he's injured... yeah cause he get injured just from being tripped up now. He could take the hits, but he can't anymore. You couldn't knock the ball out of his hands once upon a time, but its a good chance you can now.

I personally believe the throws and accuracy will get better as the season go along, my main concern is will he even last a whole season.

The Cam we knew is definitely gone. This is a new Cam.

You're soft in the head. I guarantee you that.

You have nothing to say about that post you quoted while evidently attributing the posts of others to me. I'd say you're as dumb as a brick but that would be insulting to decent bricks.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
