Moose, Godrey and Rosario Miss Thursday's Practice

I'm not suggesting he has to appear to be an elite ball hawk....he needs to show somewhere, somehow, that he is semi good and could have potential to be saftey....he has not shown any potential nor shown he has any of the characteristic to be a S. There are lots of S who show flashes of being a ballhawk.

People keep saying he is solid....but there is not one thing he does remotely well.

So what do you think he was doing last week when the entire defense was playing good?

he was being Charles Godfrey....while the talented guys around him make plays. That is like saying the passing game and offense was dangerous at times in previous years....therefore Keary Colbert must have been good.

how many people look at the FS during the game..??..not many they see one mess up and all of a sudden he sucks and is complete trash.

i watch Godfrey every play......b/c I started the hate campaign last year. If I need to stop I would. He has shown nothing but consistant bad play

The Panthers could be without three key players on Sunday vs. Arizona, which means they’ll be counting on some young reserves to step up and play big roles. Wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad (knee), tight end Dante Rosario and free safety Charles Godfrey (ankle) all missed a second straight day of practice Thursday and are iffy at best for this week.

That means the Panthers will be counting on production from Dwayne Jarrett and Gary Barnidge on offense and Sherrod Martin on defense.

Martin said he’s adapted to playing safety after starting the season at cornerback

I will be interested to see how he does. Granted, he will make mistakes against that offense....but maybe he can show something. Like 1 or two good plays.
