I had no issue with CMC being selected at 8, even though I used to be very against that type of thinking, same with Big Q at G.  In fact I was all over this board trying to sell others on the CMC selection.

My main reason?  Do you think that there was a player in that draft, at no. 8 that could have helped us in that 2015 SB any more than CMC?  I couldn't come up with one, and it was right.  With CMC or something even close to him, we win that game....IMO.

If you’re talking solely about the Super Bowl, Ryan Ramczyk would have helped more than anybody. Not saying I would rather have him over CMC nor would it have been a sane pick at 8 but one of the best RTs in league would have made the biggest difference in that game for us.

I didn't want him because I assumed Shula wouldn't be able to use him correctly. Also I am generally against taking any RB that high. 

Admittedly wavering on the last viewpoint. There are been some studs come into the league recently, CMC being one. Changing my mind steadily.
