still not even. this is a regular season game that holds very little importance. their win sent them on a run to the superbowl. this win, doesn't erase our embarrassing loss last year, it just means we're now 3 and 4 and playing the undefeated saints in new orleans next week.

little importance?? don't you realize that with a loss we have no chance at contending? besides, even though they went, the cardinals didn't win the SB.

really? but it sure would have been cool to go instead of losing a home game in round 1 as the favorite after going 8-0 at home during the season. but hey, at least the cardinals didn't win the SB so no worries.

No, it's not equal to a playoff win, but it will maybe show the team (and us) they CAN play toe to toe with the Cards and win.

THIS is what I envisioned our game with them back in January to look like.

Maybe our guys will be fired up from here on out and play like the 12-4 team we were last season.

to be quite honest, in a playoff game where you get completely embarrassed by a team, you'd actually want that team to win it all so you know at least you lost to the best.

    • Okay then, tell me what your expectations are for Thielen, XL, and Coker this year If someone wants to come out there and say they think Thielen is only getting 600-700 yards this year, then yea, I'm going to then expect T-Mac to get to 1,000. If someone wants to say they think XL or Coker is going to fall back to 300 yards this year, then yea, I'm going to expect T-Mac to get to 1,000. People seem to think I'm making excuses for why T-Mac can't get there, but it's the literal opposite, my expectations for him stem from my belief our other WRs for the first time in who knows how long.   We finally have a legitimate and full WR room, not sure that's happened since the Smitty and Moose days.  It's going to make them all better players, but it will also suppress all of their stats as they're all going to cannibalize each other a little bit.
    • It’s certainly not my shining moment. But I still made it. Running the Sacramento marathon in December and hope to have a more Jake Delhomme-level of stardom there. The Everyman that overcomes obstacles to almost reach the pinnacle of success only to have it taken away by Adam Vinateri.
