Is it bad that it feels like GVR is our most consistent lineman?

He is at least giving it everything he's got. Daley has also been much better than I thought a 6th rounder would be at LT. Moton is doing well, except for that last game against Atlanta... ouch.

I don’t want to discredit young man’s work here, because it looks like he put a lot of effort into it. But I can say, unequivocally, 61 is having a really bad go of it. I watch every snap every week. I watch it all very closely. He’s just not getting it done. I have no agenda against the guy, and I hope he turns it around. But it’s a performance business, and he’s not getting it done to this point.

The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
