One Immediate Change I Noticed...

With Rivera being fired on a Tuesday, I doubt there was a lot of time to alter the game plan, I expect we may see more changes against Seattle.

I agree. I believe Tepper even said that we have 3 games to try new things and that he didn’t expect much to be different this first game without Rivera.

More Bonnafon and more Samuel in the backfield with CMC is good though. Motions and mismatches for days if we do it wisely.

The rest of the year needs to be alignment and personnel testing. Trying out some new looks and some creative ways of getting favorable matchups. With Olsen likely gone at season's end, we'll need to be creative with how we distribute speed around the field. If we can catch teams stacking the box in base or nickel and then motion the backfield empty....ooo boy.

The only reason to watch is to see what numbers CMC and DJ end up with.

Damn.  CMC still took 99% of the snaps.  Well, at the very least, I think my impression was he got less touches, especially handoffs, which I think is good for the long-term.  Good to see Burns getting more snaps though.  He should be out there a lot more.

CMC played 70 of 71 offensive snaps, according to Panthers.com.  I think there's clearly a lot of confirmation bias on these boards.

I should've been more clear...  I meant I saw him less because he wasn't being force-fed the ball, especially rushing.  He was still out there, but the gameplan was slightly different.
