Also being reported that they're promoting Raheem Morris to defensive coordinator.

Quinn had been trying to do double duty, same as Rivera. Didn't really work in either case.

Yeah, getting Neal back next year will have such a huge impact!  I can't remember who the commentator was the last Falcons game versus was, but I nearly spit my beer out when he said the Falcon's misfortunes were a reflection of being decimated by injuries and proceeded to name Neal as the only guy (of any consequence).  I was thinking that our IR reads like a laundry list and this putz is saying missing a SAFETY is the reason the Falcons suck?

Quinn pretty much owned Rivera.

Granted, Rivera's got a couple of owners. Unfortunately for us, two of them coached in the NFC South.

To be fair, the Falcons have always had our number.  That's even prior to Rivera.  Its League-wide though, certain teams simply have another team's number.  Unfortunately, the Falcons have ours.

Oh I know Quinn is better just saying Rivera would always coach against us different and hate to face him twice a year.

Payton.

I don't think his overall record against Rivera is as good as Quinn's but his success rate over the past few years has been enough that I count him. Especially given that Payton is regularly in the playoffs and we're... not.
