Trading up for Burrow what would it cost?

True then they traded him

3 years later and that brought them Clinton Portis.  Just saying the Redskins won that deal.

Back to the OP...no way in hell Cincy comes out of that pick and no way I give up what they would want anyway.

No one won that deal

Well the Dolphins  and Broncos did

Too much for this team.

In this instance, I'm a fan of trading back if there isn't a left tackle of your dreams sitting there, maybe I would still go right tackle at 7 if he is supposed to be a great one.

Otherwise, we have too many holes to fill, and I'm planning for the long term, not next two seasons.

And i agree The Bengals are picking Burrows

Nothing you can offer them will make them trade out of that pick

If I thought we were just a quarterback away from being good, I might think about it.

We've got way too many holes.

This, not to mention the type of trade to get Burrow would be bigger than massive.

We need OL, DL, Secondary, WR, and hell even TE with Olsen getting old. The people on here who don't think we're about to have a massive rebuild are idiots.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
