So now that we are free to enjoy the rest of the playoffs without having to be to conflicted, which game of pure football observance, are you excited for.

To me, everygame has such an interesting individual story line.

GB vs sea- hail mary game, and qb  narratives.

Titans vs ravens- a goliath of a team with the ravens, vs a proven but still underdog titans. The titans viability on the shoulders of a ridiculous Derek Henry.

While improbable, but possible, if titans win, that would be a nitrus oxcide to a team.

Minny vs 9ers- a seemingly disrespected, and well paid, qb makes his best career and game winning throws in the previous game, goes against a ridiculous defence, and a qb who has shown an ability to conjure some clutch.

Texans vs KC

The match up is enough to make you consider this to be highly entertaining.

These two quarterbacks will put on the first of many duals in the future.

The Seahawks need to go next. My hatred of them pales in comparison to my hatred of the Saints and Pats, but they're really the only team left in the mix that I seriously dislike.

Ahh I mean, I really hate them as well.

But the fact I dont have to have my hatred split three ways, makes me appreciate how much more i will enjoy their loss.

They ain't making it

pulling for Mahomes and Lamar

Lamar specifically, cause he got sshit on the most pre season.

Both has earned all the respect they've gotten. Neither came into the league with a ton of hype right off the bat and declared the savior before they've even played a down, IE Andrew Luck, RG3,

I pull for players like that, and pull against players with un-earned hype. (Keapernick who was riding the coat tales of a beast team... has nothing to do with protests this was way before like in 2013, RG3, Russell Wilson riding the coat tales of the legion of boom... but hes earned my respect since then)

Vikings annoy me

Rodgers annoys me

I used to hate SF but I no longer mind them because its a different regime

Seahawks I strongly dislike, but don't hate them as much cause I no longer think Russell is a game manager that is over hyped..  I think hes a SB champ because of that beast defense and Lynch, but has since proven hes a great QB..  I still think he rode his teams coat tales in the first part of his career

Rooting for Lamar

Rooting for Mahomes

Rooting for Watson

Rooting for Derrick Henry

^^^ all of those guys were sshit on at some point collectively by the media and fan perception and have all proved those people wrong. mad respect.  Mahomes to a lesser extent, but even he was sshit on before his breakout season for throwing lots of picks in training camp

Outside of Rodgers an minny being annoying, I agree entirely.

I'd love to see Henry win it all, because come on, who would have predicted that?

And the irony that RB was the reason amongst all these new, current, prolific qbs

Watson and Mahomes have already had a dual this season.

    • That was a good segment. Watched every minute of it and would highly recommend it to all fans.
    • "So much of what the Panthers are going to do next week isn't dictated by their preference, but by what happens above them. That's another benefit of not getting locked into need. For instance, if you're thinking you want a receiver, seeing five or six of them go off the board and reacting by taking the sixth or seventh off your list instead of the first (or second or third) something else isn't necessarily wise." https://www.panthers.com/news/ask-the-old-guy-back-into-the-weeds-of-the-nfl-draft-bryce-young-charlotte-hornets-mock-draft This is what some don't seem to get, I don't care how many times it is said: You're NOT going to draft an inferior person at one position, just because that position is perceived as, or is in fact, a bigger need. That would basically nullify, or at least lessen, the reason why you set yourself up via free agency to be able to take the BPA/BAP on the board in the first place.  Yes, the process is complex, very much involved and ongoing, but the overall philosophy is not rocket science. You set yourself up in order not to be pigeonholed into taking a lower graded player at the expense of a higher graded one. This is why Morgan, Gantt and countless of others say the same thing. This is why it's just nonsensical to set yourself in a position where you don't have to, but then act like you have to come hell or high water: "Oh, we have to draft [whatever position], and we can't draft [this position]."  I'm good with whatever they do, until proven otherwise, but even then, you have to be mature enough to know that drafting is an imperfect exercise, filled with hits and misses. And, you generally don't know if you've hit, and especially missed, right away. Moreover, like I've said before, sometimes two players--different positions or not--can both be hits on their respective teams, so in that sense, it's not purely about a right or wrong pick as much as it's about putting puzzle pieces together at the time the best way that you know how.  At the end of the day, people are going to believe what they want to believe, but one thing that's true is that what the Panthers do regarding the draft is dependent upon what others do, and what others do can and does change things. That being the case, it's just another reason why you can't go in with tunnel vision. The thought of doing that is preposterous.
