Its right up your alley, months ago you had a good grasp on the pool. Just my opinion you need to focus on younger candidates, maybe some with Ivy league backgrounds. Maybe someone thats overlooked and NOT a VP, head of ______, or top assistant. 

Honestly the profile hes wants, is that one and done Browns GM. He traded for draft picks and traded for Brock O, 17million salary for a 2nd was unheard of. Sacha Brown(sp??)(i think thats his name)added all sort of draft picks and Dosey(hes gone too) used them to build the browns into a 2020 winner. He had a true moneyball attack to the draft and seem to value more picks to early picks. (hell I agree if your fully understand the draft class)

It's kind of a balance.

David Tepper sets the parameters, but Matt Rhule will actually be making the choices. And even Tepper has agreed that "alignment" with Rhule (which Marty apparently didn't have) is paramount. That's why I think someone Rhule already knows will likely get the job.

Both of the candidates I've actually already heard mentioned (outside of general speculation) fit that profle. Specifically, Jeff Ireland and Adam Peters.
