Offseason Trade: Jonathon Stewart for Jason Campbell

I believe jason campbell has outstayed his welcome in washington. Dont get me wrong hes a good qb when given a oline and running game. Washington needs a change and qb is where it starts. Carolina will be looking for a young qb who can replace delhomme. Campbell will be a perfect fit in carolina with the oline and running game. Stewart is the 2nd string rb in carolina waiting to be a feature back. Washington needs a powerrunner who can take carries off portis. This offseason the Campbell for Stewart trade seems like a match made in heaven. Thoughts?

2 words for you. Hell no!!!!. Jason Campball is not a good QB at all. He is no better then Jake. I wheather Take my chances with the draft. Plus why would we give up a stud RB in Stewart for a half ass QB like him. You must be smoking on something are another right now.

Fantastic first post. And just to agree with the others... No! and Hell No!! Jason Campbell has proven he is not worth a damn. Even with Zorn, a coach who has nothing to do now but coach up his QB and still can't do anything with him. Now there were some that were interested in him in the offseason, but I think this season has proven Jason is not any good, and I;m sure they have jumped off that bandwagon by now, him and Derek Anderson.......No! Oh, Hell No to both!!!

Jason Campbell would be a great choice, there's no reason to trade for him though, he's a free agent.

Campbell can be had for free after this season, at this point his value certainly isn't worth trading a 1st round player for. Campbells stock holds about as much as Delhommes does, I don't think we'd get McFadden or Chris Johnson for him.

That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Jonathan Stewart is as promising a back as there is in the league. We have a situation here like the Chargers did with Michael Turner...why the hell would you trade him for a washed-up, weak-armed QB like Campbell?
