Yeah maybe he'll be able to give a block for CMC or Chuba if they take a direct snap, or if he flexes out wide as part of a wildcat. If they add that type of stuff. He is still listed as a QB on the roster.

      That would be the definition of pushing Young. Which I have thought we have needed to do since day one. I wanted him to have to beat someone out. Even a token guy, just beat someone out and give the appearance you earned the job.

      It isn’t my money and I want ‘that guy’ at LB again. So I won’t complain unless he gets paid and sucks.    my big things this year are LOT and T in general, and ILB.    C is close behind.  def agree with your first paragraph in particular, Bear Hands.

      I want someone who can push Young. Camp doesn't need to be an open competition, but it doesn't need to be a closed one either. If another QB comes in and blows the doors off camp and betters Young, he deserves a chance to be the starting QB. We shouldn't avoid picking up another QB because we're afraid he might unseat our number 1 overall. Always look to improve.
