This kid can ball.. He is a savage going to the basket.. He just had some trouble at Ohio state that made him transfer to Marquette and ruin his draft stock... But he is a nice developmental piece.. Who could provide dividends later..

He’s already signed a contract with the Hornets so at the very worst I think he’ll be with the swarm.

Going to be some interesting decisions as I suspect LiAngelo, Carton, Carey, Richards, Iwundu, and Martin will be fighting for the last few spots. Three of those guys will probably make it, three probably won’t.

Carey isn't going anywhere. His contract is fully guaranteed the next two seasons with an affordable team option the year after that.

Cody Martin's contract isn't guaranteed until 8/15 so if you cut someone, he's a good candidate for it.

Richards and Iwundu both are guaranteed for this upcoming season, but nothing past that. If you decide to release one of those guys it'll cost, but not too much.

Overall Gelo and Carton are probably long shots for the actual roster. Both two way contracts are already filled as well. My guess is both will feature on the swarm this season.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
