Oh, I thought this was one of those "Which of these does not belong" games where we see 3 guys with Super Bowl rings and one who has none.

Look, I enjoyed Cam's athleticism as much as anyone, but to stand him up to 3 guys with a total of 7 Super Bowl wins among them and try to make any comparison is stupid. Does that yardage total surpassing these guys get him a ring? Big trophy?

Dan Marino and Fran Tarkenton threw it all over the lot, too, but what most people know is they never won the Lombardi Trophy; not how many yards they threw for.

Yeah, it's all Cam's fault we didn't win a SB with him. I mean, he could've done more than just carry our entire offense. Lazy bastard should've been playing defense too! Is he too busy worried about his outfit to to kick and punt?!

Calm down. Relax.

There are a lot of reasons those Panther teams didn't succeed, the least of which was Cam- I'm well aware. But adding his bust to a second tier Mt. Rushmore that includes Aikman, Young and Warner? C'mon, man.

The thread didn't say that. Simply stated the facts of the stats.

But since you mentioned Aikman, imagine what Cam would've done behind that OL.

I'd settle for any Pittsburgh O-line in the last 20 years, since this was the team that wanted to build itself like the Steelers...

Assuming Cam is about done, and it's beginning to look that way.... yeah, it was on par with a Marino career.  Close but no cigar.  Jurys still out tho.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
