Its not on the county. Dont blame the county. You are a Mod. The buck stops with you. I think you made fun of me when I made a comment about using alts. This is the kind of bullshit you should say with your alt account...not your main and MOD account.

But here we go. See attached file for baseless claim said MODERATOR posted.

Now the evidence.

Doses Administered in Buncombe County according to a source out wonderful mod would not cite. 97,300+

Source: https://www.buncombecounty.org/Governing/Depts/Health/News_Detail.aspx?id=19057

Population of Buncombe Country according to latest US census: 261,191.

Source: https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/buncombecountynorthcarolina

But you are so wrong bro. Really, mods should not engage and be wrong on their main,

If you do the math, the percentage is 37.27 . A FAR cry from the uncited stay of 61% touted by a Mod.

Contact Buncombe County and ask them about the discrepancy.

What point are you trying to make?

Hahaha.  This dude tells is the actual data on percentage vaccinated is wrong for the county but the doses administered isn't, but did notice the big text disclaimer of "NOTICE: (Wednesday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 18, 2021)"  Oooooof.

I didn't even bother to click on the link. LOL! That's fuging hilarious.

I gave facts here. I cited real sources this moderator did not bother to cite before making baseless claims. We were told that was a perma ban offense. I know yall wont. He is one of yall. But exposed today

Real facts got dropped on you by @mav1234

You're wrong and by your own logic you're arguing that you should be permabanned.

Someone got exposed alright...

Not to mention those are doses administered by BCHHS specifically it seemsI...  don't know the counties vaccine distribution effort but it probably doesn't include stats when people get one or both doses elsewhere. Not to mention we don't know the percentage of those doses that were J&J...

Not only that but he used census data on total population, which isn't what ANY of the vaccinated rates are based on. They are based on "eligible recipients". It doesn't take a genius to realize that that number is significantly less than total census population.

Better to have kept your mouth shut and been assumed a moron than to have opened it and removed all doubt.

Good point. Another reason we shouldn't extrapolate doses administered to % or rate.

The post we are speaking about is about those vaccinated. That means those Fully vaccinated, not those simply administered to with a first dose. Please, do try to keep up

Hahaha dude you took a small time slice of vaccination effort for one entity doing vaccinations out of many, did shitty napkin math that was wrong on multiple levels, and embarassed yourself. Do keep up.

You still haven't figured out that the "doses administered" figure that you're using is only for a 2.5 week period and not a "total doses administered"?

My god dude, just stop before you embarrass yourself more.

Also, BCHHS is a department so this may not even include CVS, Walgreens, etc. According to the NC dashboard, the total number of first doses in the county is 166k and if you include second doses, the total number of doses for the county is probably almost triple the number. Man, some people are just morons.

Yup, and as @Floppin Pointed out we can't use census numbers since rates are usually reported as elligible adults.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
