I Am Not Looking Forward To....

Once Quinn puts a full season together and plays good against better teams than the Lions then start the I told you so's. He still hasn't proven anything.

There is a reason why many teams pass on him until the Browns got a 3rd chance to pick him. Face it, Quinn would've been terrible against the Cards & Falcons if he was playing for us instead of Jake.

Paging Raging Bull.

I've got nothing to say about that he's going to break out after this. He had one good game against a pitiful lions defense.

however, your predictable call out isn't going to stop me from saying Quinn is not the problem in Cleveland, and that if you realize they're not trying to win now and are in rebuilding mode instead making moves for the future (which may never work out) he's not as bad a pro as it looks.

but hey, 4 touchdown passes and no turnovers against an NFL team nonetheless, that's better than your namesake ever did against a terrible team this season.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
