Bump. Was an incredibly intricate scam. I kept watching episode 1 thinking, where's the con? I order for all of this to be a lie, it would have to be an extremely expansive, well thought out and perfectly executed ponzi scheme. And it turns out it was! And when the investigators go to his depressing ass flat in Israel and you see his hunchback mother, you realize how said and pathetic his real life was, and why he desired to get out of it no matter the cost.

Also, note I watched it because I was familiar with the production company that made it. So if you liked this, you've got to watch Don't fug With Cats. Spoiler: it's not about cats. It's about the most vile, fuged up poo happening in the darkest corners of the Internet, and an insanely compelling murder mystery.

    • From a roster building perspective I understand putting CMC on there given that he's one of the best receiving backs ever. But the way these teams are usually structured in terms of sheer merit not sure about that one.
    • Three Panthers selected, one of which I think is very surprising, can't really argue with the rest. They seemed to base it on multi season heaters over single season  https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45042048/nfl-best-all-quarter-century-team-25-years-tom-brady-randy-moss-ray-lewis     Spoilers in White below Julius Peppers at DE, Luke Kuechly at LB, Christian McCaffrey at RB
    • We’ve started the last 2 seasons 1-13. You’d think with so many rookies assumed to be getting significant playing time the past couple of years that we would get them as many snaps as possible. A guy like Moton doesn’t need the snaps but Young did. Young didn’t have a 200+ yard game with no INTs until week 16 in 2023 and week 12 in 2024. The young guys need reps. 1-13 isn’t worth keeping our offense a secret until we start the season. I don’t recall a single good reason for us to act like we were an experienced playoff team the past two years.
