No one thought Jake was good. There were no Jake is decent supportors.

There were 'Moore isnt better" supporters. Who went with Jake becuase it was assumed he was the better between the choice of him or a thrid string qb.

And I stand by what I said.

Having said that, I also clamied lose one more game and get Moore in. And I stand by that. I beleie Moore should start from here on out

It needs to be stated, although Jake does suck, he is not the real person to blame. The man is just doing his job. The man has lost any ability to compete in an Professional Football game. That happens at some point in every players career. Dont blame Jake.

The person to blame is John Fox for not pulling Jake a long time ago!

A thread that calls Jake a "dumbass" is completely classless. It is not Jake's fault that he is the Panther's "best option to win." Jake does not deserve that label. He is a quality guy...a great Panther, who probably wants to win ore than anyone. Foxy does not understand the QB position. He is responsible....not Jake.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
